The optional profile (home type, ZIP, household, and any extra-help needs) is used only to tailor your on-screen result. Your ZIP is sent to the FEMA National Risk Index and public geocoding services to look up local hazard ratings; we do not sell or share your inputs.
We use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand how the check is used in aggregate (for example, how many people finish). This helps us improve the experience.
